Practising as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with a combination of both clinical and non clinical experience over the past 8 years Charan has performed at elite level sport having been a representative at several world championships as well as the Commonwealth Games. Charan's experience includes working as an Exercise Physiologist for the Kenyan National Olympic Team. Charan's international experience includes working as a rehabilitation consultant for athletes at the pinnacle of their career including World Squash Champion and World Number 1 Ramy Ashour and Olympian swimmer, African record holder and Stanford University record holder Jason Dunford. Charan's most recent role has been in Pain Management over the past 5 years working in Garran, Canberra.
After missing out on the 2002 Commonwealth Games due to an ankle injury Charan has experienced on a personal level the effect injury has on one's life, and more importantly what is required to overcome it, as well as various clinical roles, the most recent in Pain Management.
